Sam Green

Sam acts for both individuals and businesses on a range of property, business, rural and personal legal matters.
Prior to joining Green Law in September 2023, Sam gained significant national law firm experience in Wellington. He began his career with 4 years in the commercial team at Russell McVeagh and then spent over 5 years with national specialist commercial/property firm, Greenwood Roche, including as a Senior Associate of that firm.
Born and bred in Manawatu, Sam grew up on a rural property outside of Palmerston North and graduated from Otago University in 2012 with an L.L.B and BCom (Accounting) where he gained a full Russell McVeagh University Law Scholarship.
Sam is a member of the Property Law Section of the New Zealand Law Society.
Sam's areas of practice
Sam works across a range of property, business/commercial and personal trusts/succession matters. He has particular experience in sale
and purchase transactions (including business, commercial, farm and residential transactions), rural and agribusiness matters, property development and construction, and trusts, succession and estate planning.
