Legal advice.

We are a down to earth, modern, people-first law firm.

Welcome to Green Law.

As Palmerston North Lawyers, in private and commercial practice, we provide legal advice to individuals and businesses for all Property, Business, Rural and Personal legal needs.

Many people think lawyers are just corporate suits but at Green Law, we are friendly people just like you. Sure we might be one of the leading general practice Law Firms in Manawatū but that’s because we are a relationship based firm.

We’re real people who talk your language, and avoid using legal jargon. That means you understand what’s going on, however complex your situation.

We have been recognised as a finalist in the New Zealand Law Awards for Regional/Suburban Law Firm of the year.

Frequently asked questions.

Before we commence any work on a file, we send our letter of engagement, client care information and our terms of trade to you, which include our fees and charging policy for the particular matter, so you know what these are upfront. We place a high value on building long-term relationships and delivering value-based solutions.

We know life can be busy and it’s not always possible or efficient for clients to come into our offices. We offer a range of different appointment options.  You can come and see us in person face-to-face, or if you prefer, we can set up a phone or virtual appointment via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

We set out the next steps in every process at key milestones, so you have an understanding of what’s next.  We aim to provide timely advice and will keep you up-to-date at all relevant times. We are also very happy for you to call or email us and ask for an update on your file whenever you require.

This is very easy to do. We can request any files we need from your previous lawyer if you wish to change legal representation.
